Eyelash Extensions FAQ

1. What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic or faux mink fibers attached to your natural lashes to enhance length, volume, and curl. They are applied safely by a trained professional using medical-grade adhesive.
2. Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?
No—when applied correctly and cared for properly, lash extensions do not damage your natural lashes. We focus on healthy lash application by selecting extensions that match your natural lash strength and condition.
3. How long do eyelash extensions last?
Extensions shed with your natural lash cycle, so they typically last 2–3 weeks before a fill is needed.
4. How often do I need a fill?
Most clients schedule a lash fill every 2–3 weeks to keep their lashes full and maintained.
5. How long does a lash appointment take?
Full sets take 1.5–3 hours depending on the style (classic, hybrid, or volume). Fills take 60–90 minutes.
6. What styles of lash extensions do you offer?
We offer Classic, Hybrid, Volume and Mega Volume lash extensions and customize curl, length, and mapping to complement your eye shape and natural lashes.
7. Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?
Mascara isn’t recommended—especially waterproof formulas—as it can weaken the adhesive and cause premature shedding. With the right lash style, you won’t need mascara!
8. Can I get lash extensions if I wear contact lenses?
Yes. Just remove your contacts before your appointment for comfort, and you may put them back in afterward.
9. Are lash extensions safe for sensitive eyes?
Yes. We use high-quality products. Be sure to let us know about any past irritation or allergies.
10. How do I care for my lash extensions?
-
Clean lashes daily with a lash-safe cleanser
-
Avoid oils around the eye area
-
Don’t rub, pick, or pull
-
Brush lashes daily to maintain shape
11. Can I shower or swim with lash extensions?
Yes, just avoid hot steam directly on your lashes and cleanse them afterward to remove chlorine, salt, or sweat.
12. What should I do before my lash appointment?
Arrive with clean eyes—no makeup, mascara, or strip lash adhesive. Avoid caffeine before your appointment to help you relax.
13. Can I get lash extensions while pregnant?
Yes, as long as you’re comfortable lying down for the appointment.
14. What is a lash allergy and how do I know if I have one?
True allergies to lash adhesive are rare but can happen. Symptoms include itching, redness, or swelling within 24–48 hours. If this occurs, contact us—we will safely remove the extensions.
15. What’s the best way to make my lashes last longer?
Consistency is key! Keep them clean, avoid oil-based products, schedule regular fills, and avoid rubbing your eyes or sleeping on your face.
